Alyse Scura-Mohammed


Embark on a journey with Alyse Scura-Mohammed, a lifelong learner and passionate advocate in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health. With a rich 22-year career spanning diverse environments such as schools, group homes, residential treatment centers, project management and private practice, Alyse has dedicated herself to providing comprehensive services to various populations.

 

A graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh and Teacher’s College at Columbia University, Alyse holds a double Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and Mental Health Counseling. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York, certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and juvenile sexual offender risk assessments, Alyse brings a wealth of expertise.

 

Alyse has had various roles of clinician, supervisor, clinical director, project manager and a sole-proprietor of a private practice.  In private practice, Alyse has had the opportunity to support adolescents and adults on their journey to improving their well-being.
